Yasmin Panjwani is a Board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC), with a Doctorate degree in Nursing Practice (DNP). Yasmin earned her master’s in nursing education (MSN) at University of South Florida and continued her education to become a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP). Yasmin worked as an APRN for more than four years, providing wide range of healthcare services to clients with acute and chronic medical conditions. While providing medical care to her clients, Yasmin realized that many mental health disorders co-occur with medical conditions and it is very important to address those disorders to provide a holistic approach care to her clients. Her desire to help people with mental illnesses, motivated Yasmin to become a mental health provider.
Yasmin earned her Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner at Liberty University in May 2021 and has been working in Psychiatry since then. She is an ANCC board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse practitioner.
Yasmin also earned her Doctorate degree in Nursing Practice (DNP) from the University of South Florida (USF). Yasmin brings unique perspective to healthcare that focuses on both treating and caring. Caring and compassion are her greatest strengths. In addition to diagnosing and treating mental illnesses, Yasmin takes time to listen, as well as educate her patients about their illness and treatment, incorporating disease prevention and health promotion strategies. Yasmin enjoys helping people and finds her work very rewarding. Yasmin is a member of the Golden Key International Honors Society.
